Various MET teams compete as part of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), the Athletic Equestrian League (AEL), and the Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities (LIHSSRD). Riders may apply to be a part of one team or multiple teams.

Acknowledgment of and Consent to Membership Bylaws

By registering online, all riders and parents acknowledge that they have read and fully understand the MET Membership Bylaws observed by active MET participants (see below for complete Bylaws) and have full legal rights to register the team member to participate in MET. Riders and parents acknowledge and agree to the conditions for membership in MET and agree to abide by all requirements set forth in the Bylaws. By applying for membership, each member, parent, and/or legal guardian certifies that he/she has thoroughly read these rules and regulations; authorizes MET to distribute the member’s name, address, email address, and other available demographics to MET sponsors, advertisers, and other companies, activities, programs, and organizations; and authorizes MET, its sponsors, and its publicists to use for promotional purposes all photographs taken at any MET and/or IEA show or event. By entering your name below, you certify that you are the only parent or legal guardian required to give consent for the applying team member to participate.
