Our education programs are truly unique. Each one of our riders not only have hands-on experience with the horses, but they also have an online and in person curriculum through our Alternative Learning Program (ALP) which is available to all MET students.
We provide our students with a library of written material and videos to enhance their equestrian experience. Our resources educated students on the multitude of riding disciplines and horsemanship, sourced from top industry professionals, including Olympians, top veterinarians, farriers, judges, course designers, and sports psychologists. Using technology-based learning, these visual tools open the door to a wealth of knowledge provided by some of the best riders, coaches and industry professionals the world has to offer. Students are invited to join in monthly seminars led by notable members of the equine industry.
In addition to equestrian related education curriculum, students in our organization also participate in educational programs focused on STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), career development, financial literacy, creative thinking, literature, along with academic tutoring. Tutors within our program are professionals in their respective fields, who work one-on-one or in small groups with students. The goal is to help students improve or maintain their grades, develop study and organizational skills, and build confidence in their academic abilities. The program also integrates life skills and time management techniques to ensure that students can balance their academics with the demands of training and competitions.
Overall, MET’s programs build upon students’ equestrian experience and combines with horse-related activities to provide a unique and engaging learning experience for youth.
