Whether you’re a seasoned equestrian, a passionate educator, a parent, or someone who simply loves giving back, your time and talents can create lasting change.

Metropolitan Equestrian is a nonprofit organization committed to providing access to equestrian sports, academic mentorship, Career development, and collegiate opportunities from all backgrounds, all abilities and disabilities, military families, and all communities. As a volunteer, you are not just helping with day-to-day operations—you’re investing in future leaders, scholars, and athletes.
Ways You Can Help
We welcome volunteers of all experience levels and interests! Opportunities include:
Barn Support: Help with feeding, grooming, tack cleaning, paddock clean up, landcaping, and horse care
Event Staff: Assist at horse shows, fundraising events, and educational workshops
Mentorship: Mentor students in core subjects, college prep, leadership or entrepreneurship pathways
Administrative Support: Lend a hand with data entry, phone calls, and paperwork
Marketing & Outreach: Help us spread the word through social media, photography, and community engagement
Program Assistance: Support instructors and students during lessons and camps
Specialized Skills: Are you a Vet Tech, Grant Writer, Trade Expert (Construction, Plumber, Electrician, etc.) or Graphic Designer? We need you too!
Volunteer Requirements
Must be 14 years of age or older (with parental consent if under 18)
Submit a volunteer application and complete a brief orientation
Some roles may require background checks or specific training
