DONATE TO MET
At MET, we provide access to equestrian sports to kids of all backgrounds — and raise the next generation of leaders. We support our student-athletes’ academic achievement through college preparation and scholarship opportunities, and we provide a supportive, encouraging environment that instills in students a sense of belonging. None of this would be possible without the support of our generous donors.
We welcome you to make a one-time donation using the form below. You can also scroll down the page to learn more about specific fundraising campaigns we have running today and make a donation to the one that best fits your preferences.
We thank you in advance for your incredible generosity.
CURRENT CAMPAIGNS
Help us commemorate MET’s 10 year anniversary!
For a decade now, MET has been working to change the lives of young people. Our 10th anniversary gala will unite MET riders, supporters, and community members in celebration of all we’ve accomplished together.
Give our riders a leg up.
Equestrian sports come with a great deal of expense and thanks to the support of our incredible sponsors and donors, the Metropolitan Equestrian Team is able to cover many of them. Our riders still need your help though. This campaign allows you to allocate funds directly to an individual rider or to specific areas of need - from tuition to equipment.
Support our equine opportunity program.
Horses are keenly attuned to the emotions of humans and to nonverbal cues, and interacting with them and caring for them has been known to produce positive therapeutic outcomes, including increased confidence and self-esteem. Additionally, studies have shown that grooming, feeding, and caring for horses reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and improves overall health.
Donate to our St. Lawrence University college scholarship campaign.
Metropolitan Equestrian Team, “The Plaid Horse,” and St. Lawrence University have partnered to offer our students a unique scholarship opportunity wherein they will be able to participate in three equestrian-focused online college courses. Help our students expand their horizons, make lasting connections, and earn college credits that will bolster their college careers.
Support the children of 9/11 heroes
Named after NYPD Detective 3rd Grade Peter Gianfrancesco, the 9/11 Gianfrancesco Heroes Fund is dedicated to honor and assist the children of certified 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund recipients
Donate to our Alternative Learning Program
The MET alternative learning program was developed for our students to build upon the education they receive in school and to emphasize alternative ways through top-notch technology, distant learning opportunities, and educational resources made available through our collegiate partners.
